Our Mission
We understand how deeply meaningful it is to finally find a missing name, and finding that name, with high confidence, is our primary objective. Additionally, we have a very close second objective that is part of the bedrock of our mission. Apart from finding names, we want to provide training and education along the way. We would rather be out of business and have everyone also become experts in our process, and we provide as much information along the way to help you repeat our process yourself for future searches, if you desire to learn such things.
Sounds Expensive?
It is true that the process of solving long-standing mysteries can become expensive and we do not hide that fact. Going through centuries of data made available across fragmented services, resolving complex DNA relationships, use of advanced analytics, and, in some cases, travel, can add up quickly. Please expect a typical timeline of roughly 6 months, but can be longer or shorter depending on the complexity of the project. To make projects as affordable and transparent as possible, we charge a monthly retainer and provide bi-weekly updates. This helps both parties since it is not always clear initially how difficult a project may end up being. If progress is ever deemed too slow or insufficient, you can cancel the remainder of the project with no pressure whatsoever. A project can be resumed in the future, if desired. The final payout is not required if we are not able to provide the desired name with a reasonable level of confidence.
